Pain: Increasing Understanding, Decreasing Suffering
We typically try and deal with pain by avoiding it, yet this is probably one of the least effective strategies, and frequently increases suffering.
Some experiences of pain are pretty universal, such as stubbing our toe, banging our finger, being stung by a bee. Most people have a shared and similar experience of these types of things.
We can also have very different experiences of pain depending on our understanding of what the pain means, what is associated with the pain, our mental and emotional state, and the people we are with.
In this 2 hour training you will learn and practice strategies that offer you far more effective ways of dealing with pain. Pain is a messenger. It is better to not shoot the messenger. When we understand the messages encoded in our pain we reduce our suffering.
I invite you to join me in a journey to the centre of the world of pain. It will be at your own pace, safe, kind, gentle, and incredible!
